It’s deceptive to think there are people you can keep around who have no effect on you. Sometimes, what you deeply cherish, love and admire, another disdains and treats lightly. An important thing to note is this; Every one is entitled to a choice, hence do not allow peoples’ choices mock or affect your choice. God doesn’t gloat because we subject ourselves to pain or loss because we didn’t heed His light in our hearts. He wants us to heed next time. He wants us to learn to listen more and follow His leading much more. Learning to ignore is one of the hallmarks of focus. It prevents wasted time and energy. If you must answer everyone and respond to everything, you will eventually do NOTHING significant. Learn to prioritize. Your attention is your greatest asset. What doesn’t get it, doesn’t get you. Obeying God in itself is not complicated. What complicates it is our will, desires, and plans. When God’s word conquers self, and the Spirit has full control, we will find out that obedience isn’t that complicated. God’s will isn’t the problem. Our spiritual growth is! No shame! We don’t have shame! Your service to the Lord should not be based on convenience. Serve the Lord in any condition; favorable or not. True humility is seen in our ability to cast our cares on the Lord. It is proud presumption to think you can handle what God says He’d handle. It is called a “prayer life” because it is a life on it’s own. It lives in its own right. It’s a dynamic, living organism-breathing, moving, feeling, responding and growing. It is vital and energized, marked by passion, depth, and an unmistakable sense of vitality. Are you alive unto prayer? It is impossible to follow God’s plan for your life without prayer The Spirit of the Lord is upon me! The Lord hath made me a very special gift! You do not need to be a Pastor, an Apostle, or an Evangelist to be called into the work of ministry. You just need to be saved. Being born again is the call into the work of the ministry. A mighty harvest will take a mighty planting – it’s hard work! That’s to say, a lazy, idle and slothful man has no future in the ministry. There are no segregated people to whom the work of the ministry belongs to, God has given to all believers the ministry; The ministry of reconciliation The man who will take heed to the ministry in order to fulfill it, must first kill the taste for worldliness.
