A young minister will be doing himself and the Body of Christ a lot of good if he will:
• Consistently pray in the Spirit, aggressively study the scriptures and diligently too.
• Regularly see himself as a servant and not a superstar or showman.
• Be careful of the relationships he keeps, laity or clergy. We all are products of influence.
• See the work of ministry as a long-distance journey and not a sprint race where he’s eager to have crowds, money and glory.
• Refuse competition. This can ONLY be cured by following God’s plans and pursuing His purpose.
• Keeping his innocence and refusing undue pressure to perform or be above normal. Hence, never be ashamed if he makes errors.
Above all, he or she should know that ONLY God will ultimately judge his works and at the very end.
Jesus is Lord.
We Win!
